  • Volunteers Wanted!

    Published 27/02/26, by Susan Braidley

We are looking for passionate volunteers who would like to help with our school's enrichment program. We like to call it LORIC for short.

LORIC are life skills that will help our students gain the 'edge' over other students when applying for further education and future employment.

We are looking for volunteers to conduct project activities that will run termly with our students. You will deliver your projects with small groups and have a supervised staff member with you for support.

It can be anything that you feel could help our pupils develop their, Leadership, Organisation, Resilience, Initiative and Communication skills.

So, if you are interested or you think you know someone who could help us out, then we would like to hear from you!

Please email cleaver-baileys@danebury.hispmat.org for further information or to sign up.

    Published 24/02/26, by Susan Braidley

As part of National Careers Week, we are inviting parents and carers to come into school during tutor time to tell our students about their jobs and career paths.

We are keen to showcase a wide range of careers so that students can be inspired and learn more about the many opportunities available to them in the future. If you are able to join us, you are welcome to bring photographs, a PowerPoint presentation (on a USB stick) or any objects that might help illustrate what your role involves.

Tutor time runs from 8:40–9:10am, and we are looking for volunteers from Wednesday 4th to Friday 6th March.

If you are able to spare 30 minutes on one (or more!) of these mornings, please phone the Office to discuss.

    Thank you for your support.
