At Danebury we are very proud to have built a vibrant and compassionate culture where pupils feel safe, supported and empowered to achieve their personal best. We are incredibly lucky to be situated in an area with such natural beauty, we make the most of our rural location and our outdoor spaces, which include rolling fields, farm areas and allotments. Our environment positively impacts on our happiness, mental and physical health.
We believe that education can truly change lives. We are hugely passionate about learning and will always strive to provide our pupils with a rich, diverse curriculum which is both inspirational, aspirational and enables our pupils to thrive academically and socially. Our curriculum will open minds, promote communication skills, the ability to think critically and develop powers of reasoning, in turn deepening pupils' knowledge and understanding and outcomes over time.
We encourage our pupils to be courageous and independent in their learning and in their lives beyond Danebury, enabling them to take their place as a responsible global citizen in our modern world. Pupils will leave Danebury with strong academic outcomes, as well-rounded individuals who behave responsibly and empathetically, who care about others and care for the planet. Danebury pupils will be empowered to choose their path in life and have the confidence to use their voices to make a difference within their communities and to the world around them.
I am incredibly proud of the school culture we’ve built in collaboration with pupils, staff, parents, carers, the HISP Trust and our Governors over the last two years. Our strong vision and values are truly lived each day by each member of Team Danebury. It’s been a privilege to lead the school through its school improvement journey, and I am incredibly excited about our next chapter. Team Danebury and I will do our very best to ensure all our pupils have an excellent experience and leave us having achieved their personal best.
Warm wishes
