Head Prefect Welcome

Head Students, William and Grace.

Hope you’re all well and welcome to our school. 5 years ago, I was in the position of your child, choosing my next step, my secondary school. I chose this school, our school, Danebury School and what a journey it’s been on.

Over the last couple of years the school has developed into a thriving learning environment where any student can flourish. Our great staffing team lead by example , paving the way to where we are today.

The hard work put in by the senior leadership team has created a wonderful educational environment where everyone achieves, leading the school back to where it belongs. The general feel you get walking around here is truly unique to us, we’re a small school , everyone knows everyone, making the corridors a friendly place to be. The values brought in really are reflected here and are the backbone of this school.

Alongside our school values sits our core British values- celebrating important moments in our nation’s history. Last June we spent an afternoon on the field celebrating the 80th anniversary of VE day. Everyone got involved; some singing, some baking, others playing sport and chatting everyone grateful for the sacrifices made 80 years ago.

Our school community is brought together in all of our school events- Stock-fest, the highlight of the year, gives opportunities for musical pupils to perform in our mini music festival, we have activities day where options are given out to us for an adventurous day out: Splashdown, New Forest water park, all great ways to celebrate the end of another year. The last event is in the winter, when we have our carol concert down at the church where the local community is welcomed to hear us perform.

These are just some of the events that make Danebury Danebury and we love it if you’d come and join us here.

 Thank You, William
