We had a positive start to the term with a whole school assembly. Mrs Goodridge talked about happiness and striving to be positive.

Our Year 8 German class have been completing comprehension tasks based on the German song Chocolage Chip Cookies by the Wise Guys. Katie was inspired by the song and baked cookies for everyone! Lecker! Vielen Dank Katie!

Year 7 PE, Group B have started their striking & fielding unit with some cricket. I witnessed some very good fielding skills on the field yesterday, but with the rain lingering around today, we headed to the courts for a bowling lesson. The progression in such a short amount of time never ceases to amaze me. Well done!

It has been great to see Year 11 ‘locking in’ at our revision sessions. The hard work and commitment will pay off! Big shout out to the Year 10 students who also joined Science revision alongside Year 11, it’s brilliant to see such a positive attitudes to learning!

Pupils from across the school took a trip to Bournemouth to watch Blood Brothers this afternoon. We were lucky to have front row tickets, pupils were able to fully immerse themselves in the powerful storyline.

Our Triple Science students had an exciting hands-on learning experience today as they observed a lamb brain dissection, identifying key structures and exploring the vital functions of different parts of the brain in relation to homeostasis!
