Published 27/02/26, by Susan BraidleyWe are looking for passionate volunteers who would like to help with our school's enrichment program. We like to call it LORIC for short.
LORIC are life skills that will help our students gain the 'edge' over other students when applying for further education and future employment.
We are looking for volunteers to conduct project activities that will run termly with our students. You will deliver your projects with small groups and have a supervised staff member with you for support.
It can be anything that you feel could help our pupils develop their, Leadership, Organisation, Resilience, Initiative and Communication skills.
So, if you are interested or you think you know someone who could help us out, then we would like to hear from you!

Published 24/02/26, by Susan BraidleyAs part of National Careers Week, we are inviting parents and carers to come into school during tutor time to tell our students about their jobs and career paths.
We are keen to showcase a wide range of careers so that students can be inspired and learn more about the many opportunities available to them in the future. If you are able to join us, you are welcome to bring photographs, a PowerPoint presentation (on a USB stick) or any objects that might help illustrate what your role involves.
Tutor time runs from 8:40–9:10am, and we are looking for volunteers from Wednesday 4th to Friday 6th March.
If you are able to spare 30 minutes on one (or more!) of these mornings, please phone the Office to discuss.

Published 13/02/26, by Susan BraidleyMr Falkingham is sending out a survey on 13th Feb to all pupils in years 7, 8 , 9 & 10 for this year's activity day.
Pupils will be asked to select their first and second choice activities. This is so we can finalise prices for each activity which is dependent on numbers wishing to do the various activities.
Please could you talk with your child about the activities and ask them to complete the survey. The link will be emailed out directly to them at 17.00 on 13/2/26.
