      Pupil Choice Recipe

The first Danebury Food Blog Pupil Choice Recipe was chosen by Bobby W in Yr 7.  Thank you Bobby for nominating the idea for this recipe – it is rich and decadent and should definitely be considered an occasional treat.

      Bobby’s Triple Chocolate Cookies

      • 100g dark chocolate, chopped
      • 200g butter
      • 150g soft light brown sugar
      • 100g caster sugar
      • 2 eggs
      • 275g plain flour
      • 1 tsp baking powder
      • 35g cocoa powder

      • 100g white chocolate, chopped
      • 140g milk chocolate, chopped
      1. Preheat the oven to 180’C or Gas Mark 6
      2. Melt the dark chocolate in a heatproof bowl until it is smooth
      3. In a mixing bowl, beat the butter, soft light brown sugar and caster sugar together until smooth.  Beat in the eggs one at a time.
      4. In a separate mixing bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, and cocoa.  Add to the wet mixture and fold in gently, together with the white chocolate and 80g of the milk chocolate.
      5. Divide the mixture into 18 golf-ball sized pieces and place on baking tray covered with baking parchment.  Bake for 15 minutes.
      6. Remove from the oven and allow to cool.  Whilst the cookies are cooling melt the remaining milk chocolate and drizzle over the cookies with a teaspoon.

Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days.

Please do try this at home and enjoy!  Feel free to send photos of your cookies to Mr Page at pagea@testvalley.hants.sch.uk.
