    Food And Nutrition Update

    Key Stage 3

    Key Stage 4

    Yr 10 pupils have made an excellent start to their Hospitality and Catering course.  They are realising that the focus is now to create dishes for other people rather than specifically for themselves and they will be practising lots of new dishes.  Ingredients and schedules for practical lessons are shared with pupils via Arbor.

    Yr 11 have started work on their NEA Food Investigation and are carrying out experiments on the ingredients and methods used to make Pizza bases.

    Washing Up

    Please encourage your child to practise their washing up skills at home as often as possible.  This will help them to wash up accurately and efficiently at the end of practical lessons.
