Follow all the fun of this year's ski trip in Italy!!
Day 1: Arrived and checked in to our accommodation. Pasta for lunch which was lovely! Ski fit at 6, dinner around 7. Then an early night so that we’re ready for tomorrow! ![]()
Day 2: Crazy long day! 5 hours skiing in Frabosa. Followed by a guided cave tour. Back for dinner (Pesto pasta). Amazing day!
Day 3: Yesterday we skied in Artesina. The snow was absolutely incredible! Nothing better than waking up to fresh powder! For our evening activity, the guys explored a huge shopping outlet - a great opportunity to immerse themselves in the Italian culture. The most popular destination…. McDonald’s
. On food, the quality and variation of food we’ve been treated to out here is amazing! Tonight, we are off out to a restaurant for pizza night!
Day 4: Yesterday was so picturesque! Bright blue skies, loads of snow and temperatures that got up to 18° All groups are off skiing the resort at varying levels. It’s incredible to see their progress! Last night we went to a local restaurant for a pizza night. The pizzas were to die for! After dinner was some down time at the hotel. Late breakfast this morning as we are skiing this afternoon and tonight. We cannot wait for the night skiing!
Day 5: Lovely slow start to the day yesterday as we had the morning to rest up before our afternoon session followed by night skiing. Night skiing was absolutely epic!!! Not many pictures yesterday (I got lots of videos for the guys).Today is our last on the slopes and we’ve been greeted by another beautiful day. We depart tonight at 7:15 (local time) and will travel through the night on our way up to Calais.
Day 6: We’re on our way home… Amazing last day skiing in Artesina. Everyone was able to ski at least a red run (intermediate slope for the non-skiers). The progress the children made from day 1 to day 5 has absolutely blown us teachers away! The trip ended with each pupil receiving a certificate with their grading on (see photos).Enjoy some shots of our final day on the slopes!
Everybody is back safe and sound. What an incredible week.
Our children were utterly impeccable! We are so proud of them.
