Year 10/11 Netball Success!

Our Year 10/11 girls travelled to Tesbourne yesterday for an exciting netball match.

Showing excellent teamwork, determination and skill throughout the game, they came away with a fantastic 14-9 victory in a closely contested and enjoyable match.

A special well done to Raya, who was named Defence Player of the Match, and Lara, who earned Attack Player of the Match.

Well done to the whole team for representing the school so brilliantly

Year 7 Football

Our Year 7 footballers took to the field for the first time representing Danebury.

After going 1-0 down to scrappy goal, the team bounced back later in the second half to equalise. A tidy finish by Jake!

We then conceded a second, against the run of play. We continued to press and were rewarded late on with a penalty. Jayden slotting it home nicely. We continued to try and push for the win, but couldn’t break the shackles. Final result: 2-2.

Thanks for the game Wellington, played in great spirit and intensity.

Huge thank you to Henry for refereeing the game. Noor and Dec for running the line!

Lovely turn out from the parents and staff to get behind the team. Which was much appreciated by myself and the team.

Mr Thomas
