Ever wondered what life in the British Army is really like?
Behind the Camo is a four-part virtual event series that gives a real, honest look at life in the British Army. Each episode features serving soldiers answering questions people don’t usually ask - covering different topics like career options, daily life, and common myths. It’s a great opportunity to hear personal stories, explore the wide range of roles available, and see how Army life can be more supportive and rewarding than you might expect. Get insider knowledge, hear directly from those living Army life, and have your unanswered questions tackled.
In the first episode, they explore the Army’s core roles in defence, peacekeeping, and humanitarian missions, brought to life through personal stories from serving soldiers.

Year 10 pupils have been given the opportunity to attend an open day at Peter Symonds College on Tuesday 22 or 23 June 2026. The purpose of the open day is to provide an insight into what it would be like to attend a 6th Form College and for pupils to find out about the range of courses on offer.
If you would like your child to attend, please complete the permission request via Arbor Parent Portal. In addition, pupils must register and select the programme for the day by following the link:

Please note that the deadline for registration is March 2026. Requests to take part submitted after this date will not be accepted.
Pupils will need to make their own transport arrangements in order to attend Peter Symonds, and they will be expected to wear full school uniform. Members of staff from Danebury School will be on hand throughout the day and will provide supervision at break and lunch time.
