Transition – Parents Information Evening 

We are pleased to invite you to our upcoming Parent Information Evening for families of students who will be joining Year 7 in September. The event will take place on Tuesday 7th July, from 6.00 pm at Danebury School.

This evening is designed to provide you with key information about the transition to secondary school and to help ensure your child’s start with us is as smooth and successful as possible. You will have the opportunity to:

• Meet members of the Senior Leadership Team and key Year 7 staff
• Learn more about the curriculum, school routines and expectations
• Receive guidance on how best to support your child in preparing for the new academic year
• Ask any questions you may have about the transition process

We believe that strong partnerships between home and school are central to a student’s success, and we hope you will be able to attend this important event.

For the 2026/2027 Transition cohort, we are using a new system called Applicaa to register your child. 

• Once we have received notification that your child will be joining us at Danebury School, you will be sent an email with your log-in details for Applicaa.
• You will need to verify your details before you are able to log in. Make sure to check your junk mail and add the email address to your safe senders list.
• Once your email address has been verified, you will be able to log in and complete your Admissions form and also provide your proof of address/ID.
• If you are unable to access the form online, or have any trouble logging in, please contact Admissions on admissions@danebury.hispmat.org
